The first Lighthouse school in Central Arkansas opened its doors to families in 2009. Since that time we have become invaluable in helping Central Arkansas students exceed their educational and life-long goals. Our college preparatory program has expanded to include four campuses in Arkansas, where our students excel in developing scholarly habits, becoming innovative thinkers and growing into well-rounded individuals.
We’re preparing scholars to be the next generation of industry leaders, ground-breaking scientists and even agents of social change. Learn more about the opportunities lighthouse academy can offer your scholar!
We're excited to begin the school year and are grateful that we get to educate our scholars in person. However, we are aware that many of you have not received your school uniforms due to supply chain issues that have been heightened by the global pandemic. Our administrative team has been working closely with our uniform vendor Ibiley Uniforms & More while also monitoring the global supply chain shortage. As we work to solve these issues, please know that Arkansas Lighthouse Academies is committed to doing what we can to help ease the burdens of our families and provide an environment where our scholars feel empowered to learn. As part of that commitment, here is how we are moving forward:
Coming back from Labor Day weekend on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, scholars are asked to please be dressed in Navy, White, Yellow, Light Blue or Hunter Green polo shirts or a solid color, short sleeve or long sleeve dress shirt (K-12) upon returning to campus. Shirts do not have to be branded.
Additionally, these required polo or dress shirts can be found in most local retail stores and can be worn until your order from Ibiley Uniforms & More is received, and we ask that you please refer to our handbook to make sure that scholars are satisfying all other uniform requirements. We know that this has been a frustrating experience in an already difficult time, which is why moving forward, we are actively seeking out additional vendors for you to purchase uniforms through and are hoping to have this new list solidified by the end of this semester.
We want to thank you for communicating with us and being patient with our administrators, staff and vendors as we are all navigating such a challenging and unpredictable year. As always, we are excited to journey through another school year with you as we continue our mission to engage Every Scholar, embrace Every Voice and empower our schools and communities Every Day. If you have any questions or concerns about your order status, you can contact Ibiley Uniforms & More’s support team at firstname.lastname@example.org. For other questions, please call your school’s office.
